Adventist Motorcycle Ministry

We have had an exciting year in Adventist Motorcycle Ministry and because of your support we wanted to share with our church families some of the blessings we have experienced.

As a result of the good work and dedication of all our members and the support of our church families, AMM of Oregon has been named “Chapter of the Year 2012” out of 11 states and six countries! We are eagerly anticipating a visit from the General President of AMM, Juan Santos, Vice President, and Secretary whom will be flying in this summer all the way from Florida to present us with a trophy and spend the weekend in fellowship. This is a big honor to our chapter members and all the glory goes to God.

By the end of 2012 we grew from 11 members to 25, and we praise God as He continues to bring us together with one purpose in mind – to take the gospel to those who otherwise might not hear it. We have a dynamic group with a wide variety of life experiences and talents. We have shared hundreds of Steps to Jesus , as well as Great Hope , Discovery Health , and Mark Finley’s Remember . We have given Bible studies and witnessed to many while on and off of our bikes. We have seen God working at every event we have attended, in the restaurants where we’ve eaten, with contacts we make everywhere we go, with lives changed and God’s love shown.

Here are just some of the events we’ve attended or volunteered for this past year:

  • Toy run at Shriners hospital
  • Ministering to the homeless in Portland
  • AMM Oregon fundraising at MACS
  • AMM Oregon booth at rallies in Salem, Redmond
  • Booth at Ministryfest in Gladstone
  • Noah's Ark at the Oregon State Fair
  • The Second Annual Motorcycle Campmeeting
  • Booth at Oregon Conference Campmeeting
  • Monthly church visits, conducting Sabbath services
  • Fellowship rides with members and friends
  • Monthly meetings, motorcycle safety classes
  • ‘Adopted’ a family in need last Christmas

Our mission is to lift on high the name of our Lord Jesus Christ through our testimonies to all we meet wherever we go, on or off our bikes. We all have a passion for sharing the truth and testimony of Jesus Christ as we enjoy riding and being His disciples.

Our goal is to seek and save lost souls for the Kingdom of Heaven wherever we go, as God leads, by sharing the three angels’ messages! We are very much looking forward to what the Lord has planned for us this year, and we encourage you to join us.

On behalf of AMM we would like to thank you all for your continued support and prayers; we could not have done it without you! For more information, check out our website at www.adventistmotorcycleministry.org, or call Laurie Olson at 503-437-1034.

Donations are greatly appreciated since this ministry is funded by our members only. You can contribute using a tithe envelope; just write “AMM # 9375” on the memo.

AMM; where every ride is a mission!
